Welcome to Thin Ice Music.

The studio was built just under 2 years ago and since then has undergone several major upgrades.

Here's a little bit about us and what we have done.

Paul Kearns
Paul has spent over 30 years in and around the music business. He has played keyboards in many bands in his time - sadly none of which are famous! Until a couple f years ago, Paul had worked in the IT industry since it's beginnings in the early 80s, latterly working on Internet projects. The fusion of IT and music production could not have come at a better time.

Mark Smith
Mark has always been a professional musician, having played with the likes of Paul Young, Rod Stuart and (arrgghhh!!!) Rolf Harris. He is currently touring with several major tribute bands.

Besty
Besty has for many years been a professional drummer having played with almost all the major stars at one time or another. Like all of us, he is getting older and is now dedicated to helping up and coming musos rather than attempting to commit suicide by heavy metal. He is still an awesome drummer though.

Margaret Kearns
Paul's wife. Margaret has the most "commercial" ears ever born. She can s[pot a bum note or incorrect line at 20 paces. Her contributions at mixdown are invaluable (just don't tell her - it will go to her head). Se also makes a mean lunch.

Terry Brown
Terry is a vocalist and flute player extraordinaire. He is also a builder which came in very handy when building the studio.
