How much we charge depends on what you want us to do.
If you just want to use the studio for producing a demo then we make a flat charge of £20 per hour. This includes full engineering (we do not rent the studio out for others to use alone). Then, if you want us to, we can produce your CDs - up to a maximum run of 200. The costs for this are as follows.

1 - 25 CDs - £3.50 each
- 26 to 50 CDs - £2.50 each
- 51 to 100 CDs - £2.00 each
- 101 to 200 CDs - £1.75 each
This includes full jewel case with full colour sleeve printing to your specification (photos must be JPEg or GIF format)
If we agree with you that you have potential to get music published on line via our iTunes and Napster agreements then studio time may be offered free of charge (subject to maximum time limits). We will then upload and promote the tracks on the web. Each track normally sells at £0.79 per download. Our upline costs leave us with a total of £0.35 per track downloaded (with VAT and iTunes/Napster Costs). We split this 15p to us and 20p to you on a quarterly basis. All recordings done under this scheme remain copyright to Thin Ice Music. The relevant radio and download tracking numbers will be embedded into the tracks by us. It sounds very little but, if you sold 1 million copies Worldwide of a 10 track album, you would make £2.00 per copy. Remember - iTunes sells over 90 million tracks a day!!!
